Details
Staples refer to square staples as Sod Staples and round staples as Irrigation Staples. There is no price difference between the two and both have a 45 degree angled tip for easy ground insertion. Once you've placed the staples in the ground, allow 7 - 14 days for the grass to grow around the staples. After this short amount of time, the staples will be out of sight and reinforced by the roots underground.
