SelectSound black acoustic board is made of inorganic glass fibers with a thermosetting resin binder and formed into rigid rectangular boards that are dimensionally stable and will not shrink or warp. SelectSound black acoustic board comes with a smooth black veil surface over a deep black board that is monitored during production with a colorimeter for consistent color. The thicker, smoother veil additionally aids in resisting damage during installation and service. When necessary, the durable black veil facing may be cleaned by vacuuming.
