ROCKWOOL AFB® evo
ROCKWOOL AFB® evo is a lightweight, acoustical fire batt stone wool insulation with no added formaldehyde. This insulation is specifically designed to reduce sound transmission and provides exceptional acoustic comfort when installed in a wall assembly with gypsum boards and resilient channels.
AFB evo is also non-combustible and will not develop toxic smoke or promote flame spread, even when directly exposed to fire. This helps to provide valuable extra time for people to reach safety and for fire services personnel to control the spread, making it a key component of fire-rated partitions.
